Senior IT Project & Implementation Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Miramar Wellington.

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to take responsibility for the delivery and successful completion of complex projects. These projects have a significant business, and high-profile impact.
Hands on with an eye for detail, you are skilled at project resourcing, analysis and consultation, building internal/external teams and bringing your own blend of practical skills to ensuring project and implementation success You have a strong technical background and understanding of both on-prem and cloud infrastructure and application projects.

This role will be a 12 month Fixed-Term Employment Contract, based within Wētā FX at the Wētā FX Facilities in Miramar NZ.

What you’ll do:

This role is a driver of change, passionate about delivering effective solutions to the project stakeholders, product owners and their customers and helping others to adapt.

Hands on where necessary, you are skilled at project resourcing, analysis and consultation, building internal/external teams and bringing your own blend of practical skills to ensuring project and implementation success

What you’ll bring:

• At least five years+ prior experience in an IT project delivery / project management role managing projects from initiation, through to implementation.
• Highly developed skills in establishing and managing business relationships including the ability to understand the business' strategic goals and translate these into credible outcomes for all stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience as a strategic thinker and thought leader with expert knowledge of current and emerging technology trends, solutions, and best practice
• Project Management Experience engaging in large-scale transformation projects including cloud
• In-depth understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies i.e., Waterfall, Agile (Kanban, Scrum), Hybrid.
• Ability to manage IT Infrastructure projects with a broad knowledge of IT Infrastructure solutions
• Excellent communication and consultation skills
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Stakeholder Management
• Vendor Management
• Knowledge of Atlassian Products
