Senior IT Project & Implementation Manager

Wētā FX is an industry-leading, award-winning visual effects and animation facility based in Wellington, New Zealand, with creative hubs in LA, Vancouver and Melbourne.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Miramar Wellington.

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to take responsibility for the delivery and successful completion of complex projects. These projects have a significant business, and high-profile impact.

What you’ll do:

This role is a driver of change, passionate about delivering effective solutions to the project stakeholders, product owners and their customers and helping others to adapt.

Hands on where necessary, you are skilled at project resourcing, analysis and consultation, building internal/external teams and bringing your own blend of practical skills to ensuring project and implementation success

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in IT project delivery / project management role managing projects from initiation, through to implementation.
  
• Highly developed skills in establishing and managing business relationships including the ability to understand the business' strategic goals and translate these into credible outcomes for all stakeholders.
  
• Project Management Experience engaging in large-scale transformation projects including cloud migration.
  
• Demonstrated experience as a strategic thinker and thought leader with expert knowledge of current and emerging technology trends, solutions, and best practice.
• In-depth understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies i.e., Waterfall, Agile (Kanban, Scrum), Hybrid.
  
• An ability to manage IT Infrastructure projects with a broad knowledge of IT Infrastructure solutions.
  
• In-depth knowledge of Atlassian Products.
