ERP - Resource Planning Analyst

As our ERP Resource Planning Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of our journey to implement Microsoft D365 ensuring "the right artist on the right show at the right time".

In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate with business workstream leads and our implementation partners to analyse, document, and design processes and data that align with industry best practices. You’ll help to design and build solutions and undertake test and change activities, ensuring that at every step of the way, our solutions meet business outcomes.

Please note that this is a 10-12 month fixed term opportunity

What You’ll Do

  • Support and document process, data and solution designs, undertake change, data cleansing and migration activities and test and training activities aligned with the ERP Implementation plan.
  • Analyse current Production processes and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement including but not limited to resource planning, work breakdown structures, and effort estimation and tracking.
  • Help build a shared understanding of Production workflows, processes, and ways of working – ensuring they are best practice for the VFX industry.
  • Design ways to improve business processes by identifying alternative solutions, assessing feasibility, recommending new approaches.
  • Work alongside the Production Technology Project Manager, supporting and actioning the decision making about process design and change, data cleansing and migration activities, solution design, BI dashboard design, and test activities aligned with the ERP Implementation plan.
  • Identify risks and escalate to the ERP Project Manager and Production Technology Project Manager.

What You’ll Bring

  • Significant hands-on experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within VFX Production or Workforce Planning.
  • Experience implementing ERPs or VFX technology toolset sets in the above disciplines, preferably Dynamics 365, Solver Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solution or Shotgrid (or other VFX workforce planning or delivery tools).
  • Strong experience documenting future state processes to design, test and train ERP solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to translate technical concepts into simple clear language.
  • Strong relationship skills across and outside the business with experience working with and influencing a diverse group of stakeholders.
