Moves Team Technician

The Moves team technician will assist with Facilities-related tasks for office relocations; following set out processes for daily work station removals in an office environment.

** Duties include:**

  • Liaising with the Moves Team Coordinator
  • Assisting a small team during the implementation of relocations, ensuring jobs are completed to a high standard
  • Packing down offices; including fragile and high value items in a secure manner
  • Loading/packing a variety of vehicles in a secure, safe and timely manner
  • Lifting heavy office equipment and furniture
  • Communicating effectively before, during and after a relocation
  • Ensuring relocated workstations are fully completed, left in a tidy, ordered way (to Weta Digital guidelines)
  • Reporting
  • Consistently looking to improve

Skills required:

  • Experience in relocations/logistics/removals
  • Full NZ Drivers Licence
  • Experience and knowledge with current Worksafe expectations and guidelines
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Initiative and leadership skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Excellent physical ability
  • Able to work in a team
  • Light IT skills/knowledge of how to plug in a machine

Nice to have:

  • Heavy goods license
  • First aid certificate
  • Knowledge of Weta Digital Crew and culture

Please note: Sunday's and evening work required Applicants must be a New Zealand Citizen or New Zealand Permanent Resident.
